I purchased the Cat & Dog C3 about 6 months ago, while the vacuum cleaner is good, the Turbo Teq head has failed on me already, and the second one is about to fail also. Harvey Norman NZ did a great job to deal with the warranty for the first head, but I feel that 3 months is about all I am going to get out of these heads. They are a real pain to remove to he hair from the brush, previously I had a Wertheim with a power head and it was a simple task. The Turbo Teq head is a great idea, but unfortunately just not thought through for a real user in terms of cleaning the brush head or design failure of the head. I have had Miele vacuums before, couldn't wait to get new one, but now I am disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Belinda from Terrible to clean I purchased my cat and dog vacuum cleaner with this turbo head and I was completely disappointed it is so hard to try and get the round hair off the brush with very little space to try and get scissors or a sharp object to try and loose in the butt and what is suck on it. I'm also already having trouble with the air intake section with it not clipping back into place properly after owning a Dyson I am extremely disappointed I was hoping for a vacuum cleaner that had easy access to clean the turbo head which this clearly does not have when I reviewed the product at my local Harvey Norman store their head that they showed me on the vacuum cleaner looked as if it had two openings cruise to be able to access the turbo brush when I received it it does not have this at all now try and find refresh open you completely different vacuum

Rated 1 out of 5 by DT2024 from Turbo TEQ head can not be cleaned The design of the turbo teq head makes it impossible to remove dog hair from the rollar. It requires 6 screws to be removed, which are hidden behind the rollars. once this is completed it is near impossible to remove plastic clear clips from front to separate the two halves. A complete waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Daryl KS from Turbo Head will Fail Overall the vacuum is pretty great. The main unit is easy to clean, has powerful suction, and most of the parts are of very high quality. However, there was only one reason we bought this vacuum. We have a dog and 2 cats and the TurboTeQ Floorhead was apparently the best thing ever (according to the sales rep). And initially it was!. However, after a while the brush roller became incredibly clogged with rolled up pet hair. This is no problem in of itself, if the head unit is easy to clean. Unfortunately the Miele Turbo Head is anything but easy to clean. Finally, the roller packed it in totally and was really struggling to roll. No problem, I thought, I can just disassemble and clean it, as I've done with other head units. However, be forewarned that this unit is anything but simple to disassemble and clean. The final nail in the coffin was when I identified the issue. brush roller has a small drive belt attached to it, protected by a black plastic housing. This was not moving freely. No problem I thought, I can just purchase this part and replace. I phoned a parts supplier and they informed me that Miele only allows them to sell to official repair engineers. Next time I will make sure to ask questions related to ease of cleaning/repair when I buy a new vacuum. If you have multiple pets that shed, I can't, in all honesty, recommend this unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rachael from Gréât but can’t clean thé head Wonderful at cleaning the carpet but impossible to clean the head. Have to pick and pull at the fur around the brush roller. Very dirty and tedious work every week. My head is now jammed and I cannot pull it apart. I suspect Miele make it difficult so you have to buy a new head all the time. Please make it easier to clean the head

At $199 one would think it should last much longer than this. Very disappointed with the Turbo Floorhead

Rated 2 out of 5 by Danny from Power Head breaks I love this vacuum (C3 Cat and Dog) but it is let down by the power head. There is a plastic component that the brush fits into that keeps breaking. You should be able to remove the brush from the powerhead so you can clean it properly. With the dyson power head I was able to remove the brush but the vacuum was not as good as the C3 . I am now going to have to spend 179 on a new powerhead again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Marjoriexxx from Not recommended - hard to clean brush Not recommended. Does a great job at picking up up the hair BUT brush is very difficult to clean due to poor design. Need cleaning after each use yet it does not come apart to clean or change the brush, so either requires picking hair and dirt out of the roller, or taking apart, never to get back together again.
