No way to comment, since I can't see how the scaling condition is when the machine suggests for discaling. After discaling process is done, I can't see how effective it is either.

Descaling tablets - needs to be easier to extract
I would score this higher if it was easier to remove the tablets - I have to cut them out (and there is a very small gap and then have to score around each tablet to then get out)

The descaling tablets have a pretty easy job at our place, with the high quality of Melbourne's water. But the comfort factor is pleasing, knowing a high standard of hygiene is applied. But is it really necessary to count down every coffee serve from 50 before descaling? Why not from 10; or 50, 25, 10, nine, eight... Still, it's a minor inconvenience from the machine which serves up a magnificent cuppa.

Miele appliances are worth every cent.
I can only give you my opinion , I have been using Miele Coffee Machines for decades , I would not dream of using anything else but the recommended cleaning tablets on my fantastic machine.
Apart from the coffee machines, I have many Miele Appliances in my house. Including a washing machine and dryer that are 35 years old and still running strong and reliable. You can’t do better than that!

Purchase of Miele descaling tablets
In a time when online shopping was the only way to purchase what you need I always appreciate better than expected service. That is: Immediate confirmation or my purchase emailed. One or two follow up emails advising progress of delivery and then finally the delivery to my door. I am always doubtful and nervous with shopping online so thank you for your honest and professional service

Signature required for very low value purchase
A low value and simple product, but Miele seem to think a signature is necessary for delivery. This necessitated a trip to the post office. There is no ability to change this. Just sell them in the supermarket if you can't get this right

Much better than expected
Ordering and receiving without an issue. Ordering from Miele was a much better experience than I have had in the past when ordering from a third party. Price was quite competitive as well.
