Safety thanks to an additional sensor
The Water Control System (WCS) monitors the water intake with a water level sensor. Water intake is stopped automatically if the normal water level is not reached. If there is water leakage inside the machine, the inlet valve inside the machine closes and water in the suds container is pumped away. A float switch in the drip tray also detects leaking water.

A worthwhile investment
When we first returned to NZ from overseas we bought a Miele vacuum cleaner. For the past thirteen years it has performed excellently, so when we needed to get a new washing machine, we felt that paying a little premioum for a product was a worthwhile investment. The WWD 660 Washing Machine is an excellent machine. We aren't that keen on the washing powder that is supplied with it as it has a strong residue smell on the laundry. this is a nuisance as the design is a great idea, its just that some adjustments need to be made for a better outcome. Having said that , this is an excellent appliance and we hope to get many years use out of it.

No regrets so far
I have my mielie-lady for about 3 months. No regrets so far. Feels solid and trustable. It washes well and gentle enough. The detergent drawer is a bit hard to open, but this is a minor issue, especially with the TwinDos option. There is no signal for the end of the wash - at first it was strange, but now I'm glad about it. I also still enjoy testing and compare different machine functions and Miele detergents/capsules on different laundry.

Disappointing
It’s not as good as my old miele. It doesn’t seem to clean as well. Whites are still a bit grubby. The smell is odd. And there are not enough options for types of clothes.

So clean and smells beautiful
I’m so happy I finally invested in a top end washing machine. Having washed with cold water for a few years now my clothes finally feel clean after washing in hot water. The instant detergent even though a little expensive makes it so easy to wash. No detergent dribbling down the sides. Love the new drum as well. Very happy with my purchase.

It throws the odd error and has to be restarted by turning off at the wall.
Otherwise it washes well and wrings the clothes dry well (1400rpm)

Great quality washing machine.
This washing machine connects to your home wifi. Which means you receive notifications when a load is done. A gimmick? Maybe but I’ve found it super useful.
