Disappointed
Bought the C2 Mile vacuum with this head but it’s problematic. When the brush is up in the carpet position, the red thread catchers are the lowest point. As a result the new pure wool loop carpet is felting/ pilling. Not a good look. The previous floor attachment was better. Have spoken to Miele regarding this issue but they no longer stock the 285 series floor head and have no solution for me, sadly.

Horrible Piece of Frustrating Junk
This is find on hard floors, but is like pushing a brick around even on low pile carpet. You have to turn the suction on lowest suction setting otherwise forget using it at all so it hobbles this great vacuum as you don’t get a great cleaning and no mater what this attachment makes vacuuming a complete misery!

Excellent service!
Ordered a new floorhead nozzle for vaccuum cleaner and surprised that it arrived within a week to Darwin. And it was exactly the right part. Happy with the vac, and very pleased I could buy a new floorhead and not a whole new vaccuum cleaner

Works OK on pure wool carpets
Great fan of Miele products but this floor nozzle does not measure up to their usual excellent standard. The thin rollers leave 'train track' marks on rugs, particularly those that contain silk. Redesign is required.

Replacement Head
I bought this to replace the worn head on an older Miele vacuum. It was a perfect fit and is so brilliant on both carpet and hard surfaces such as wooden floors and tiles. A perfect replacement part.

Helpful new feature on modern floorhead nozzle.
Great newer model floorhead nozzle with plastic instead of metal on floor facing base. In a seaside environment this is much more practical as original floorhead base had rusted.

Nasty light weight plastic
I had to have a new vacuum head as the old one lost a screw and I couldn't have it repaired. The replacement is lightweight plastic - no where near as substantial.
