The Miele descaler for washing machines and dishwashers dissolves harmful limescale deposits which build up due to hard water. Use for washing machines: Empty the entire contents directly into the empty drum of the washing machine (without any laundry inside). Start the cotton programme at 90-95C without a pre-wash. Recommendation: Depending on water hardness and use, recommended use is 1-3 times per year.
Use for dishwashers: Start the Pots and pans programme (75C) without any dishes inside. After the pre-wash is complete (after 20 minutes), add the entire package contents for the main wash cycle. Recommendation: Depending on water hardness and use, recommended use is 1-3 times
per year.

Great product - sorted my machine out.
Used this on my washing machine and it stopped giving me messages about checking the water. Probably because the Descaler cleaned out the draining pipes really well. I'm going to use it regularly from now on.

Excellent Descaler
The descaler cleans the internals of our washing brilliantly, making sure it operates as it should, and removes any build-up of calcium scale. It also helps remove any build up of residue soap suds in the piping of the machine. Since using this product, we have had no more issues with blockages in our machine pipes.

Does what it should and does it well
Having never used descaler for our Miele Washing Machine before after 8 years it was not working well. Upon calling the technician out we found that the machine was full of scale. After repair we have used the descaler every 6 months religiously and it now continues to work as new.

Did the job but ceated much suds that they stated escaping through the top of the machine. I have custom made timber cabinets so not ideal. Had towels set up around the machine to absord the sudding.

Effective descaler
Our dishwasher was working well but we have hard water, so I thought it worthwhile to use the descaler. It seemed to do a good job and has improved the performance of the machine.

ok but expensive for what it does.
Expensive for what it did. It may have helped a bit. After using it I still had deposit on the clothes. What has been much more effective is a cup of vinegar in an empty load.
